A. Google Analytics

We use the web analytics service Google Analytics in the version Google Analytics 4 on our website. This service is provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of our website. Within Google Analytics, all data from devices located in the EU, based on the geographical IP address, is first collected via domains and servers within the EU before being forwarded to analytics servers for further processing.

a. IP Anonymization

IP anonymization is automatically activated on our website for Google Analytics. Your IP address is shortened within the EU or the EEA before being transmitted to Google in the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted and shortened there. Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide further services related to website and internet usage. According to Google, IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics, but are only processed briefly for geolocation and then immediately deleted. Your IP address will not be merged with other Google data.

b. Demographic Features in Google Analytics

Our website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics to obtain information about the age, gender, and interests of website visitors. The data used for this purpose is based on interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third-party providers. It is not possible to assign this data to specific individuals. You can deactivate this function at any time via your Google ad settings and also generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section “Objection to Data Collection”.

c. Data Processing Agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully comply with the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

d. Storage Duration

Data at user and event level stored by Google and linked to cookies, user identifiers such as the User ID, or advertising IDs such as DoubleClick cookies or the Android advertising ID, will be deleted after 2 months. e. Right of Withdrawal

Many data processing operations require your explicit consent. A. Instagram Plugin

The functions of the Instagram service (Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA) integrated on our website can be recognized by the Instagram logo, for example in the form of an “Instagram camera”.
