Next One: A Sunshade for the Lacustre
This is the same sunshade idea adapted to a different boat model and format. The Lacustre version is lower but considerably longer than the first design. The reduced height makes the roof more stable while still covering a larger part of the boat.
Aluminium poles replace the carbon-fibre poles used previously, making the structure lighter and more flexible. The end fittings were redesigned for each corner so the poles finish cleanly at the roof edge instead of extending beyond it as they did on the first version.
What Changed
The first sunshade was built for the proportions of an Esse 850. This version keeps the same basic idea but adapts it to the longer and lower shape of a Lacustre.
The lower roof is more stable, while its additional length creates a larger covered area. Aluminium poles make the construction lighter and more flexible than the carbon-fibre poles used before.
Each corner fitting was also adapted to its exact position. The poles now end directly at the corners and no longer extend beyond the edge of the roof.
